RE:              Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Historic Resources Commission:

Reappoint Anne Marvin (913.631.6709) to the at-large position for an additional term that will expire 03/01/07.

Appoint Sven Alstrom (749.1018) to the architect position which will expire 03/01/07.

Traffic Safety Commission:

Appoint David J. Hamby, P.E. (749.4474) to the position vacated by Brian Edwards which will expire 04/30/05.

Task Force on Homeless Services:

Appoint Loring Henderson (832.0040) to replace Tom Wright as the Lawrence Open Shelter representative.
