Legal staff requests authorization of the mayor to execute the attached Release of Mortgage for 816 Connecticut Street (legally described as Lot 54, Connecticut Street).  This property was sold at sheriff's sale having previously been partitioned to the various heirs of the property.  The City of Lawrence has a CDBG mortgage in the amount of $2,458.00 on this property that will be satisfied and paid in full upon execution of said release and the filing of final decree ordering distribution of the assets from the sheriff's sale.
