Public works went out for bid for one (1) rear load mini packer refuse truck. This unit is an addition to the fleet to handle the expansion of the office paper and cardboard recycling projects. Bids # 4, 2, & 3, from American Equipment did not meet specifications. The specifications required a 9 yard packer and a 40 gallon hydraulic reservoir and they did not bid those sizes of packer or tank. Roy Conley’s bid #2 did meet all specifications
Recommendation Action:
Approve bid from Roy Conley for one (1) rear load mini packer refuse truck in the amount of $67,741.00 (Public Works/Solid Waste Reduction)
