On behalf of the K-10 Association, Inc., I am pleased to have the opportunity to meet with you on Tuesday, March 30, 2004. The purpose of the presentation is to provide you a briefing on the following:

• Recent efforts pursued by the Association
• Association plans for 2004
• An overview of the K-10 Corridor Study Update

The new K-10 Corridor Study Update is being distributed to all members of the Association and other interested individuals and groups. You will find it provides as excellent overview of the past decade along America’s SmartCorridor.

The City of Lawrence has been a very important element of the successes described in the study. In particular, Mayor Dunfield’s service on the Association’s Executive Committee and current service as President has been very valuable to the Association. We also appreciate the cooperation and support of the staff of Lawrence/Douglas County Planning Department in completing the K-10 Corridor Study Update.
