ORDINANCE NO. 7758

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2001 ADDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO,       RELATING TO NO PARKING.

          BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, parking is prohibited along the east side of Avalon Road between 9^th Street and Cambridge Road.          

SECTION II.  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the removal of appropriate traffic control devices, parking is permitted along the west side of Avalon Road between 9^th Street and Cambridge Road, except from a point 400 feet north of Cambridge Road north 185 feet.

SECTION III.  The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of No Parking, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section I.
