Stormwater Management Program  Stormwater Violation

The Stormwater Division of the Public Works Department is responsible for enforcing the Stormwater ordinance, as defined by our Phase II NPDES permit application.  Stormwater Quality Technician, Patricia Ogle, partners with the Code Enforcement Division of Neighborhood Resources to ensure effective enforcement during construction.  When construction site violations are identified, Patty Ogle provides notification and follow-up inspections services.  If the required erosion control or other practice is not provided, Code Enforcement withholds future permits and inspections for that site.  The property is posted with the bright orange sign, as seen in photos, so that sub-contractors know they cannot receive inspections.  This effective partnership provides significant incentive to contractors to comply with Stormwater management requirements in a timely fashion.
