                      Milling, Overlay and Pavement Marking Improvements

6th Street (U.S. 40/59 Hwy.) – From Frontier Road to Arkansas Street

Bids were taken April 13, 2004 on the subject project.  The results are as follows:

          Engineer’s Estimate                                     $   550,535.95

          LRM Industries, Inc.                                       $   462,297.90

          R. D. Johnson Excavating Company          $   495,022.05

We recommend awarding the contract to LRM Industries, Inc. in the amount of $462,297.90 provided the contractor can meet the terms established in the contract documents.
