Please include the following item on the City Commission agenda for consideration at their April 20, 2004 meeting:
Set bid date of May 11, 2004 for 950 Monterey Way Sanitary Sewer Channel Crossing Improvements
Project History.
During the Utilities Department’s routine inspection of sanitary sewer channel crossings, the crossing east of 950 Monterey Way was found to be in poor condition, and close to failure.
Project Status.
Utilities Department staff has designed repairs to the pipeline crossing and improvements to the channel in the area of the crossing. These plans and specifications are now complete and the project is ready to bid.
Action Request.
The Utilities Department is seeking approval from the City Commission to set a bid date of May 11, 2004 for this project. The project will be funded through the Utility Department’s (Wastewater Collection Division) O&M budget (501-7410-584-2538).
