SUBJECT:     Adoption of the 2004 Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan

DATE:                        April 27, 2004

The City Commission will consider adoption of the 2004 Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan at their regular meeting Tuesday, May 4, 2004.  The Consolidated Plan is required by the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act of 1990 and is the result of a collaborative process whereby a community establishes a unified vision for community development using federal, state, and local funds. 

The 2004 Action Plan includes the one year Investment Summary (page 34) for the upcoming 2004 program year (August 1, 2004 through July 31, 2005).  The Action Plan is available on the website and has been available to the public.  Staff will be available to answer questions and the Chair of the Neighborhood Resources Advisory Committee, Greg Moore, will also be present.
