RE:              Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Board of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters:

Reappoint Bob Brookman to an additional term that will expire 04/30/07.  Mr. Brookman will fill the journeyman position.

Lawrence Public Library Board:

Appoint Ron Hurst to fill the position vacated by Bill Snead.  This term will expire 04/30/08.

Task Force on Homeless Services:
