Incentives
The use of incentive positions within the department is based on a philosophy that the members who accept additional responsibilities should receive additional pay. Sometimes the responsibilities are performed during the normal workday hours and other times they are performed during “down time”. The Chief reserves the right to establish both the type and number of incentive positions. The established positions include:
