RE:                  2004 Overlay and Concrete Repair Program, Phase 3

                   Project No. 26-SR5-504(C)

On the June 22, 2004 agenda the City Commission will set the bid date of July 6, 2004 for Project No. 26-SR5-504(C), 2004 Overlay and Concrete Repair Program, Phase 3.  This contract includes:  Arkansas, 24^th Street to 25^th Street; Belle Crest Drive, 25^th Street to Belle Haven Drive, including Shelburn Place; Melrose Lane, 24^th Terrace to 25^th Street; 21^st Terrace, Naismith Drive to Ousdahl Road to cul-de-sac; 24^th Street, Alabama west to end of street; 24^th Terrace, Melrose Lane to cul-de-sac; 28^th Terrace, Belle Haven Drive to Alabama.  The engineering/project development was completed by staff.

Incentive Recommendation:  The contract will include $600 per day for liquidated damages.  This project does not typically cause substantial public inconvenience for prolonged periods of time.  No recommendation for incentive.  Working days for this project is 50.
