I would like top contribute one comment to the proposals listed below. While I believe that it is aesthetically unpleasant for indoor furniture to be placed on outdoor porches, I am opposed to formally opposing this placement of furniture. The practice, which seems to be most common among students, especially in the Oread area, does not pose, in my opinion, any environmental or other hazard. I believe that students or anyone else has the right to place the furniture they wish on their porch or lawn. At the same time, I would oppose the storage of large amounts of indoor furniture outside on porches or near house, which could present a fire hazard.
