RE:	Lake Pointe Engineering

On June 15, 2004, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 6550 forming a benefit district for the construction of Lake Pointe Drive from 22^nd Terrace to Clinton Parkway, including intersection and traffic control improvements at Clinton Parkway and Lake Pointe Drive.  Letters were sent to eight consultants on June 24, 2004 requesting proposals from interested firms.  Five of them responded.  Two consultants were interviewed on July 22, 2004 and BG Consultants was selected as the preferred design consultant for this project.
