The referenced property has been inspected and found to be in violation of the City of Lawrence Environmental Code. Specifically, the yard/parking lot is littered with loose trash and abandoned vehicles.

Per the chronology below, a notice was issued to the property owner and the blight remains. Please let me know if you have questions concerning this. Thank you.
Aug 12 2004 Inspected, the property is littered with trash, garbage and an inoperable van. Issued Notice of Violation.
*Separate notices were also issued for blighted mobile homes and overgrown vegetation. A mowing contractor has been contracted to mow the yard.
*Several trailers were in an unsafe state, per KSA 12-1756, these were boarded up.
Aug 31 2004 Inspected, no change. Took pictures.
Request a resolution be adopted, declaring this property blighted and order the violations abated within 20 days.
