ORDINANCE NO. 7810

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE SALE, POSSESSION, AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to City of Lawrence Code Section 4-105(E), the sale, possession, and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to South Park, between North Park Street and South Park Street, 1100-1200 block of Massachusetts, on September 18, 2004 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., provided the sale is pursuant to City license and a State of Kansas temporary liquor license, and possession and consumption is pursuant to the rules and regulations of the Department of Parks and Recreation.

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
