For those patrons who use mobility aids such as wheelchairs or crutches, please call the Library to make special arrangements at 843-3833, ext. 123.

Thousands of books are available for sale in categories that include fiction, classics, history, science, business, computers, foreign languages, health and medicine, reference, cookbooks, the arts, encyclopedias, hobbies and how-to.  We have books that are “like new,” big and beautiful, or in large-print. Non-book items for sale include videos, records, tapes, CDs, magazines, and maps.  A huge selection of children’s books is also available.

Of special interest this year is the very large collection of poetry. With pamphlets, beat poets and other examples of contemporary American poetry, it is truly a collection worth browsing.

Proceeds from the sale are used to support the Lawrence Public Library. Please join us to make this the biggest and best book sale yet!
