The Weatherization Program is funded with CDBG funds and is budgeted at $35,000.  This program, which includes installation of storm windows, attic insulation, and weatherstripping of doors, is offered every year to eligible homeowners.  Eligibility requirements include owner/occupancy of single-family dwellings, the owner must meet the program income guidelines, and the unit must be in the city limits and cannot have been weatherized previously. 

The program was advertised during the month of August and the deadline for applications was August 31, 2004.  The department received 60 applications, of which 51 are eligible for weatherization improvements.  If you have further questions, please let me know.
