RE:	2814-16 Ridge Court - Stormwater System Improvements

The purchase of the duplex property at 2814-16 Ridge Court is a recommended acquisition based upon the 1996 Stormwater Master Plan.  This project was categorized as a Priority Level I improvement.  City staff have negotiated a purchase price of $123,000 for the acquisition of the duplex at 2814-16 Ridge Court and the property owners and their counsel have accepted this offer based upon the appraised value of the property.

Recommendation:

Staff recommends that the City purchase 2814-16 Ridge Court from Glen and Judy Davis in the amount of $123,000.   Funding for the acquisition will come from budgeted 2004 funds from the Stormwater Utility.
