ORDINANCE NO. 7827

AN ORDINANCE ALLOWING THE POSSESSION, AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON CERTAIN CITY PROPERTY PURSUANT TO A SIDEWALK DINING LICENSE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

Section 1.         From and after the effective date of this ordinance, the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages is permitted on the following described property:

Generally located 21.75’ west of the southeast corner of Lot 91 of the original township of Lawrence Kansas to the point of beginning, hence south 7.75’, hence west 40’ , hence north 7.75’ to the south property line of Lot 91, hence east 40’ to the point of beginning, containing an area of 310 square feet more or less. (SP-08-57-04)

all pursuant to Section 4-101, et seq., of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, December 31, 2003 Edition.  Provided, that the possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages on the above described property shall be pursuant to all applicable State and City laws, including but not limited to the requirements of the sidewalk dining license granted for the property.
