Re:     Agenda Item –Set Bid Date for Utilities Project# PS04-33: Clinton Parkway and Wakarusa Relief Sewer

Please include the following item on the City Commission agenda for consideration at the October 26, 2004 meeting:

Set Bid Date for Utilities Project #PS04-33: Clinton Parkway and Wakarusa Relief Sewer

Project History: The Utilities Department Collection Division desires to install a relief sanitary sewer line underneath Clinton Parkway, just east of Wakarusa.  This relief sewer will enable the Utilities Department to decommission Pump Station # 33, located at 4820 Clinton Parkway. The project is scheduled for 2004 in the Wastewater Master Plan.

Project Status:  The engineer selected for the project, Professional Engineering Consultants P.A., recently completed design and the project is ready to bid.

Action Request:  We request approval from the City Commission to set a bid opening date of November 16, 2004 for this project.
