On December 14, 2004 the City of Lawrence opened proposals for the following:  

Project 77-ST17-1100(S) 

23^rd and Haskell Stormwater Mitigation Pond

Federal Aid Project – KDOT #23 TE-0182-01

Recommendation Action:

Approve bid from LRM Industries, Inc. for the 23^rd and Haskell Stormwater Mitigation Pond, in the amount of $99,990.00, provided the contractor can meet the terms established in the contract documents.

Incentive Recommendation:  The contract will include $200 per day for liquidated damages.  This project does not typically cause substantial public inconvenience for prolonged periods of time.  No recommendation for incentive.  Working days for this project is 90.
