ORDINANCE NO. 7854

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2001 ADDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO YIELD SIGNS.

            BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, traffic on Wheat State Street shall yield at Eldridge Street.

SECTION II.  The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of Yield Signs, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section I.
