RE:	Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers (when available).  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Grant Review Board:

Appoint Loralee Stevens (816.520.0080) to a term that expires 12/31/07.

Historic Resources Commission:

Appoint Jay Antle (842.9336) to the “historian” term vacated by Virgil Dean.  This term will expire 03/01/07.  Appoint Matt Veatch (913.865.4252) to the “engineer” term vacated by Malcolm Lodwich.  This term expires 03/01/07.

Lawrence Arts Commission:

Reappoint Margaret Morris (843.2787) to her first full term that will expire 01/31/08.

Appoint James Schaefer (830.8030) to the expired term vacated by DiAnne Damro that will expire 01/31/08.

Appoint Liz Kowalchuk (841.2008) to the expired term vacated by Janet Satz that will expire 01/31/08.

Appoint Evie Rapport (749.0873) to the un-expired term held by Lewis Tilford that will expire 01/31/06.

Appoint Mary Kennedy McCabe (842.6863) to the un-expired term held by Paul Hotvedt that will expire 01/31/07.

Appoint Elizabeth Hatchett (749.3224) to the un-expired term held by Sureva Towler that will expire 01/31/07.
