The City’s current 8kVA UPS system is inadequate for the number of servers the City is supporting in the server room. Bid 0504 included purchasing a 12kVA unit, with an option for a 4kVA battery pack upgrade option to allow for a total of 16kVA protection.
The City’s current 8kVA unit will be relocated to the Wastewater Treatment Plant to support the servers and technology equipment there to support their systems in case of power outages.
Recommendation Action:
Approve bid from Electronic Supply Co. with the 16K option for the UPS System in the amount of $30,294.00. (Information Systems)
