RE:	Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers (when available).  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Board of Electrical Examiners and Appeals:

Reappoint Jeff Oliver (748.0777) to a second full term that will expire 03/31/08.

Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging:

Appoint Debbie Burns (843.9189) to the un-expired term of Kittye Hagen, which expires 09/30/06.

Lawrence Alliance:

Reappoint Ralph Reed, Deb Taylor, Tiffany Hessler-Droge, Sarah Terwelp, and Capt. Ed Brunt to additional terms.

Mechanical Code Board of Appeals:

Reappoint Frank Estrada (749.2186) to a second full term that will expire 03/31/08.

Parks & Recreation Advisory Board:

Appoint Kelly Barth (843.8578) to a first term that will expire 12/31/08.

Special Alcohol Fund Advisory Board:

Appoint David Kingsley (842.3807) to the un-expired term of Charles Briscoe, which expires 04/30/06.
