The Public Works Department requested bids for janitorial service at the Community Health Center. They requested bids for a one year contract that is renewable for two additional years providing both parties agree.
The bid from LJS was rejected due to the fact that they did not fully provide quotes as requested for additional labor on non-emergency basis and additional labor on an emergency basis. Nor did they include a list of equipment in their inventory as required. Additionally they quoted a 10% increase each for the 2nd and 3rd year of the agreement.
The janitorial service was approved in the 2005 budgeting process.
Recommendation Action:
Approve bid from Cardinal BG Services Solution for janitorial service at the Community Health Center in the amount of $79,756.68. (Public Works/Community Health)
