AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE SALE, POSSESSION, AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 4-105 of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, December 31, 2003 Edition, the prohibition of the sale, consumption, and possession of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to Broken Arrow Park on Friday, May 6, 2005, between the hours of 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., and on Saturday, May 7, 2005, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., provided the sale is pursuant to City license and possession and consumption are pursuant to the rules and regulations of the Parks and Recreation Department.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
