On April 12, 2005 the City of Lawrence opened proposals for the following:

This mower will be used to mow YSI and will be purchased on a three year lease/purchase agreement.  For the past 5 years the City has entered into a lease/purchase agreement with an equipment company for a large mower.

We pay the yearly lease and then YSI reimburses the City.  We would also like to add the extended warranty for an additional $2539.00.

Recommendation:

Approve three year lease/purchase agreement from Deems Farm Equipment for an

11 ft. –  high capacity mower and extended warranty in the amount of $36,114.04 (Parks & Recreation/Facilities Maintenance)
