On April 19, 2005 the City of Lawrence opened proposals for the following:

This piece of equipment will be used to pick up litter, cigarette butts, and debris from trees in the downtown area. We would also like to add the optional equipment signal and brake lights, storage box,  broom holder, and dust panel filter totaling $1,562.33.

Recommendation:

Approve bid from Tennant for a riding litter vacuum and optional equipment in the amount of $28,502.33.
