|
Utilities Department requested to purchase laboratory cabinets, counters and sinks to replace equipment being used at the Kaw River Water Plant. The cabinets, counters and sinks being used in the Kaw Plant laboratory were purchased in the 1950’s and have deteriorated to the point that they are not functional anymore. The money for this project will be taken from the 2005 CIP funds.
Recommendation:
Approve bid from Hicks – Ashby Company off the State Contract for new laboratory equipment in the amount of $27,920.00. This price includes installation which neither of the other two proposals includes. (Utilities/Water Treatment)
