On June 28, 2005, the City of Lawrence opened proposals for the following:  

Project No. 12-CR1-205(C)

2005 Concrete Repair Program, Phase 1

VENDOR	TOTAL  BID
Engineer’s Estimate	$336,148.00
Pavers, Inc.	$384,989.00

Only one bid was received for the 2005 Concrete Repair Program, Phase 1.  The bid was carefully reviewed and we believe the unit prices are reasonable.

Recommendation Action:

Waive the Engineer’s Estimate and approve bid from Pavers, Inc. for the 2005 Concrete Repair Program, Phase 1, in the amount of $384,989.00, provided the contractor can meet the terms established in the contract documents.
