The referenced property has been inspected and found to be in violation of the City of Lawrence Environmental Code.   Specifically, there is an abandoned car in the rear driveway and the property appears abandoned.

Per the chronology below, a notice was issued to the property owner with no response as of today.  Please let me know if you have questions concerning this.  Thank you.

Mar 15 2005    Inspected, there is a large damaged tree in rear yard.  Mailed courtesy letter.

Mar 21 2005    Owner, Michelle Bird, called and requested additional time.

Apr 6 2005      Inspected, no change.

Jun 2 2005       Inspected, no change. Issued Notice of Violation. Also issued notice for overgrown grass/weeds.

Jun 28 2005     Inspected, no change. Took pictures. Contracted a mower to mow the overgrown yard.  Request a resolution is adopted, declaring this property blighted.
