Re:              Agreement with the Johnson County Contractor Licensing Review Board

Attached is an agreement with the Contractor Licensing Review Board of Johnson County that sets forth the terms and conditions under which Lawrence licensed contractors may participate in, and receive credit for, approved education classes offered by the Johnson County Contractor Licensing Program.  The City of Lawrence will compensate Johnson County CLRB $135.00 for providing eight hours of training each year to a City of Lawrence contractor.  This fee will be covered by the contractor’s annual license fee paid to the Neighborhood Resources Department. 

The Legal Services Department has reviewed the attached agreement and recommends its approval.  We request the City Commission authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement.
