RE:	Anna Tappan Way Public Hearing July 19, 2005 Agenda Item

At the City Commission meeting on July 19, 2005 the City Commission will hold a public hearing for the improvements to Anna Tappan Way from Haskell Avenue west approximately 500’ to Hanscom Road.  This is a local street at 27’ wide from back of curb to back of curb with sidewalks on both sides of the street.

The unplatted tract is owned by Gerald D. and Julia R. Weeks.  They were notified by mail of this meeting.  As of this date we have not heard from them. 

The estimated cost of the improvement is $350,000.  The method of assessment is based on front footage.  The apportionment of costs is 100% to be paid by the benefit district and 0% by the city at large.  The resolution setting out the findings of the governing body and ordering the improvements to be completed is also presented for City Commission direction.
