Dear Property Owner:
You are hereby notified as owner of record of the following property: ___________________ in the City of Lawrence, Kansas that the cost of proposed special assessments to be levied against such property for the construction of sanitary sewer improvements, including, pump station, force mains, gravity lines, and other necessary and related sanitary sewer improvements in and near Riverside Business Park is $________. Resolution 6402, duly adopted by the Governing Body of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, authorized this project.
The Governing Body of the City of Lawrence, Kansas will meet on August 9, 2005 at 6:35 p.m. or thereafter, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 6 East 6th Street, for the purpose of considering the proposed assessments. Written or oral objections will be considered at the hearing. You may also send e-mail comments to the City Clerk’s office prior to the hearing at freeb@ci.lawrence.ks.us. Please note that no suit to set aside the said assessments or otherwise question the validity of the proceedings shall be brought after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the publication of the ordinance fixing said assessments.
