Utilities Department requested bids to remodel the Kaw Water Treatment Plant Laboratory. The existing laboratory dates from the 1950’s. It is very much in need of repair. New laboratory casework was ordered in May of this year and will arrive ready to be installed on October 31, 2005. Existing casework must be demolished and new ductwork, ceiling, floors, electrical, plumbing and HVAC must be installed to complete the project. This project was approved in the 2005 budgeting process.
Recommendation:
Approve bid from BA Green Construction Co. for remodeling the Kaw Water Treatment Plant Laboratory in the amount of $57,450.00.
