RE:              Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Board of Zoning Appeals/Sign Code Board of Appeals:

Appoint Carol von Tersch (842.5030) to her first full term that will expire 09/30/08.

Human Relations Commission:

Reappoint Ray Chao (842.3115) and Ernesto Hodison (842.4557) to additional terms that will expire 09/30/08.  Appoint Lori Tapahonso (830.2715) to her first full term that will expire 09/30/08.

Community Commission on Homelessness:

Appoint Phil Hemphill (842.5880), Helen Hartnett* (864.1180), and Robert Moseley to terms that end 12/31/05.  Appoint Sara Taliaferro* (842.9754), Shirley Martin-Smith* (842.1515), and Loring Henderson* (832.0040) to terms that will expire 12/31/06.  Appoint Captain Ed Brunt (LKPD – 840.7400) and Kim Gouge (843.9050 x303) to terms that will expire 12/31/07.
