ORDINANCE NO. 7933

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2001 ADDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO, RELATING TO NO PARKING.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:  From and after the effective date of this ordinance NO PARKING on Madeline Lane, both sides, 9^th Street to Yale Road, from September 1 to June 1 each school year, 7 AM–5 PM, MON-FRI, is hereby rescinded.

SECTION II:  From and after the effective date of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, parking is prohibited 9 AM-3 PM on school days along both sides of Madeline Lane between 9^th Street  and Yale Road. 

SECTION III.  The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of No Parking, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section II.
