AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE TEMPORARY SALE, POSSESSION AND CONSUMPTION OF CEREAL MALT BEVERAGES ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 4-201, et seq.,of the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, December 31, 2003 Edition, the prohibition of the sale, consumption and possession of cereal malt beverages on public property shall not apply to the west side of South Park on Saturday, October 22, 2005 from the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. provided the sale, possession and consumption are otherwise pursuant to the Code of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, the laws of the State of Kansas, and the rules and regulations of the Parks and Recreation Department.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
