Dear Commissioners and Mayor:

I will be appearing before you on Nov. 8th to discuss the merits of Cypress Park Addition at 1801 Learnard Ave. This is a five lot proposal for RS 2 infill homes.

We propose to build homes that have the following attributes:

1.  Efficiency of design and extreme energy efficiency by way of using hot water radiant heat in the floor and super insulation in the walls and ceilings.

2.  Low lifetime costs including maintenance, utility and insurance costs by using fire resistive materials such as cement siding.

3.  Handicapped accessibility.

4.  Conforming to the style of the older neighborhood.

We have completed one such prototype with these features at 1131 New Jersey St.  It leased immediately to a handicapped person, the first person to look at it.  It appears there is an unmet need for such housing and we would like to build several more at Cypress Park Addition.

I would be happy to show each of you this new/old kind of home, before the City commission meeting on the evening of the 8th.  I can be reached anytime at 979 3939.  Thank you for your consideration.
