RE:	November 8, 2005 Agenda Item Public Hearing – Vacation of Drainage Easement – Deerfield Woods Subdivision

Please include the following item on the City Commission regular agenda for consideration at the November 8, 2005 meeting:

The City Commission will hold a public hearing for the vacation of a drainage easement between Lots 54 and 55, Block 1, Deerfield Woods Subdivision No. 8.  The Deerfield Woods Subdivision is located north of Peterson Road and on the east side of Kasold.  This easement was dedicated on the plat as a drainage easement.  The storm sewer was constructed/installed between Lots 54 and 53 and this easement is not necessary.  No development or improvements have begun and, therefore, all utility companies are satisfied with this request.  Staff recommends approval of the vacation of this drainage easement.
