Attached please find a proposed cope of services and engineering contract from Black & Veatch to complete a two phase update to the 2003 Wastewater Master Plan to evaluate the impacts of growth in the northwest area and the implications of additional flows to the sanitary sewer collection system.

A variety of information regarding this topic is available on the City’s website at www.lawrenceks.org in a section devoted to the Northwest Area Study. 

Commission Action.  Staff recommends approval of this proposed scope of services and seeks authority from the Commission to enter into a contract with Black & Veatch for a not to exceed amount of $80,500 to complete this update.
