BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:
SECTION I: From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance the following bus loading zones are hereby rescinded:
15th Street, north side, from a point 424 feet east of the east curbline of Engel Road to a point 512 feet east of said curbline. (Jayhawk Towers)
15th Street, north side, from a point 330 feet west of the west curbline of Naismith Drive to a point 365 feet west of said curbline. (Learned Hall) – (Ord. 7726 – 11/25/03)
15th Street, south side, from a point 350 feet east of the east curbline of Engel Road to a point 446 feet east of said curbline. (Jayhawk Towers)
SECTION II: From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, a BUS LOADING ZONE is hereby established along:
15th Street, south side, from a point 84 feet west of the west curb line of Burdick Drive to a point 144 feet west of said curb line;
15th Street, north side, from a point 375 feet west of the west curb line of Naismith Drive to a point 485 feet west of said curb line.
SECTION III. The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of KU Bus Loading Zones, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section II.
