IN THE MATTER OF THE VACATION OF A PLATTED CUL-DE-SAC/TURNAROUND AS DESCRIBED ON THE PLAT OF BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, IN LOT 9, BLOCK 4, A SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS.

NOTICE OF HEARING

THE STATE OF KANSAS TO ALL PERSONS WHO ARE OR MAY BE CONCERNED:

Take notice that on the  29th day of November, 2005   6:35 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the Governing Body of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, will convene in the Commission Meeting Room, 1st Floor, City Hall, 6 East 6th Street, Lawrence, Kansas, for the purpose of conducting a hearing on  the petition of  Vernon and Jessie Branson, 800 Broadview Drive, Lawrence, Kansas,  wherein prayer is made to vacate that portion of a platted City Cul-de-Sac/Turnaround described as follows:

That part of Lot 9, Block 4, Broadview Heights, a subdivision in the City of Lawrence, Douglas County, Kansas that is designated to revert to Lot 9, when and if Broadview Drive is extended to the north PER THE NOTE DEPICTED ON THE PLAT FOR SAID LOT 9.

The City Cul-de-Sac/Turnaround is located on platted property commonly known as 800 Broadview Drive, and located in Lot 9 of Block 4 of Broadview Heights Addition, Lawrence, Kansas.  That said petition has been filed in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, and referred to the Governing Body of the City of Lawrence, Kansas, for hearing and determination.

That at said time and place all interested persons can appear and be heard under said petition.
