RE:              Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Human Relations Commission:

Appoint Bessie Walker to the position vacated by Wendi Coleman.   This position expires 09/30/08.

Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging:

Appoint Emily Donaldson (843.0811) to the Advisory Board position that will expire 09/30/08.

Sister Cities Advisory Board:

Reappoint Andrew Tsubaki, Gina Ross, William Keel, and Michael Kennedy to additional terms that will expire 12/31/08.  Appoint Richard Ground to the position held by Beth Reiber, which will also expire 12/31/08.
