RE:	Equipment/Fire Hose Dryer

As you recall we received approval for the purchase of an Equipment/Fire Hose Dryer in FY 2005 budget to be installed at Station No. 5.   The funding was authorized out of the Equipment Reserve Fund.

This is a sole source purchase.  Circul Air, Corporation is the only manufacture of an electric “equipment/fire hose dryer.”

Recommendation:

The bid document submitted by Circul Air, Corporation is acceptable to the department.  We recommend the City purchase of One (1) Equipment/Fire Hose Dryer from Circul Air, Corporation in the amount of $13,760.
