Item No 18:            USE PERMITTED UPON REVIEW FOR LAWRENCE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL; NORTH OF W. 4^TH STREET & WEST OF MAINE STREET

UPR-09-07-05:  Revision to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Master Plan.  The property is located north of W. 4^th Street and west of Maine Street.  Submitted by Landplan Engineering, P.A. for Lawrence Memorial Hospital. City of Lawrence is the property owner of record.

Staff Presentation

Lisa Pool made a presentation regarding the changes made to the LMH master plan.  This revision includes the construction of a new x-ray storage building at the north end of the site.  Staff is recommending approval.  Site plans for the specific projects that conform to the master plan will be reviewed as projects are proposed for construction.

Applicant Presentation

CL Maurer made the presentation of the update and revisions of Lawrence Memorial Hospital master plan.  There were no questions of the applicant.

COMMISSION DISCUSSION

The commission had no additional comments or questions about this item.

Action Taken

Motion was made by Comm. Lawson, seconded by Comm. Ermeling to approve the Use Permitted upon Review to revise the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Master Plan and forward it to the City Commission with a recommendation for approval, based upon the findings of fact presented in the body of the staff report.

          Motion carried unanimously, 8-0-2 (Comm. Riordan and Burress abstaining.)
