11/2/2005 Greetings:

My name is Sue Nanninga. I am a homeowner. I live at 2517 Allison. I have been written a letter informing me that you are considering changing the zoning in my neighborhood. I have to honestly say I can't imagine that you would even consider allowing the zoning to change. Surely you wouldn't tell a homeowner in our neighborhood that they couldn't build a porch on their home because it would look "too busy" for one thing, then turn around and let a developer come in and botch up our neighborhood by putting in duplexes that will only financially benefit him. I don't even want to imagine the amount of traffic and cars that we would have to tolerate. It will decrease our property values. I feel it is obvious we are trying to work very hard at increasing our property values. Please don't waste your time and our hard earn money even giving this any consideration. I really don't think, given the fact that you have been strict on improvements to our neighborhood properties, that I need to worry that you would even consider such a proposal. If this was your back yard I'm sure you wouldn't think twice about allowing such a thing. We have a great family, safe neighborhood and I know you'll want to support that.

Sincerely,

                                                Sue Nanninga
