RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Citizen Advisory Board:

Appoint Robert Farha (841.8727) to the vacant position that expird 03/01/07.  Mr. Farha’s term will expire 03/01/10.

Electrical Board of Appeals:

Reappoint Russell Brickell (832.3176) and Tim Kaufman (842.6464) to additional terms that will expire 03/31/10.

Historic Resources Commission:

Reappoint Anne Marvin ( 842.6293) to an additional term that will expire 03/01/10.

Lawrence Alliance:

Appoint Michael Monroe to a vacant position that expired 11/30/06.  Mr. Monroe’s term will expire 11/30/08.

Neighborhood Resources Advisory Committee:

Appoint Vern Norwood to the vacant position that expired 09/30/06.  Ms. Norwood’s term will expire 09/30/09.

Public Health Board:

Appoint Gerald Pees, M.D., to the position vacated by Gladys Sanders that expires 03/31/09.

Special Alcohol Fund Advisory Board:

Appoint Branden Bell (218.2215) to the vacant position that expires 04/30/08.

Traffic Safety Commission:

Reappoint Bob Hagen (864.4340) to an additional term that will expire 04/30/10.
